Tebow jerseys?

to me it's almost worse than say, for example, a Jamarcus Russell jersey because you bought it, felt stupid after he busted and that's it, you sold it on eBay for $3 and moved on.

On the other hand, with a Tebow jersey, you were ecstatic when you bought it because he just surprisingly got drafted in the 1st round. Then you felt stupid for a little while because he appeared bust-ish. Then Tebowmania happens, you break out your Tebow jersey, full of pride and get all excited again. Now Tebow's days in Denver are likely over and your left disappointed again with your jersey purchase. It's like a double bitch slap, a roller coaster of emotions that only resulted in terrible outcome for your jersey investment.

This is why I can't buy a Jurrjens jersey. Every season they threaten to trade him. WTF Atlanta just extend him so I can get on with my jersey purchase.....

My Huddy jersey is worn out and I really want a new one.

I remember reading about a locals taking their Brandon Marshall jerseys and getting them changed to Tebow... funny. In many cases, tatoos are a bad idea all around.

If I got an autographed Packers jersey and they left I wouldn't be mad.. they were still a Packer at one time and you have their autograph of them as a Packer... I still wear my Bigby Packers jersey even though he went to Seattle..

it ain't over bud. he'll flourish somewhere else i'm sure.

and ya, i got a jersey but so what. I'm Primarily a Denver fan, AND a Tebow fan. He is a good guy regardless of what people think. I don't believe in religion, but that doesn't mean i can't like him cause he's a good guy. He helped give a super exciting season, and im happy to continue wearing the jersey.

This. I think Tebow is what all athletes should be like. Plus you cannot deny what a great influence he is in the locker room. His teammates loved the guy. He is a great leader and it's why I've always said if he ever decided to coach (whether pro or college) I could see him being very successful at it. I guess the only thing leaving me with a bad taste in my mouth is Elway (no homo). He made the right decision in getting Manning IF his neck can hold up. Assuming it will it was right. But I didn't like that he more or less lied and I never liked that he didn't give Tebow the credit he earned. So many games won in the 4th quarter. Tebow wins. He may not win pretty but he wins and he works his ass off. I think whatever team gets him will be very lucky. Just his leadership abilities could make a team on the brink just that much better.

I have a small collection of hockey sweaters.... All-star from the All-star game last year; Hurricanes red, Hurricanes white, Albany River Rats white; Hartford whalers....

None of the sweaters have names on the back except the Whalers sweater.... it has Ron Francis who is retired.... Two reasons for no-names.... name sweaters are way more expensive and players get traded

I don't get the fear of it.. I always think blank sweaters look kinda douchey compared to those with a player... I really don't see why wearing a former players jersey to the game is a bad thing?

OT: I was at a Patriots vs Bears game in 2006 when Lawrence Maroney was starting to make his name in the league and having a decent season. I was not only for sure he was the Pats next starting rb but I was also convinced that he was gonna be a top 5 NFL back. Bought a genuine Maroney Jersey at the Patriots store....$114. It just sits in my dresser and I hate looking at it because not only does it have 0 value but noone even remembers Maroney

eh, well if your going to feel bad for them, how about Browns fans who purchased (deep breath): Couch, Warren, Cortney Brown, Jeff Garcia, Charlie Frye, Brady Quinn, Derek Anderson, Jake Delhomme, Winslow, Edwards, William Green, Wimbley, Peyton Hillis, and soon to be McCoy jerseys

Don't see why i would feel bad for them.

I had a Pedro and Manny Red Sox jersey. I wore it more after we got rid of them than when we had them. Added some uniqueness since for whatever reason, people didn't wear them nearly as often.
