It's been 5 months now, gotten a bit better but still there bothers me and sometimes it hurts in the armpit.

If I stop all weights now and go just do swimming will swimming help?

Ive been docs he says same thing no weights just rest, but it's been 5 month still pain is there but it has gotten alot more bearable now since 5 months has gone.

That hurts just thinking about it! Bounce the swimming idea off your doc before you try it. Sounds like it might be a pretty decent 'low-impact' way to carefully and judiciously get back into the game. Take your time, and don't push it more than you should brother. Encouragement, and best of luck with your recovery.

Swimming has this false rep going about how "gentle" it is, because of the flotation...

far from the truth: swimming is STRENUOUS.....not bad, mind you, but strenuous...and as such, I agree with the advice about speaking to your doctor about this...
