View Full Version : Can Red Potatoes be swapped for Sweet?

I'm trying to eat healthier, and build some muscle(more of a lean muscle look). I'm 6' 140lbs. So really I'd like to keep a thin look, but with defined muscle.

I was looking at some diet plans, and they all have the same thing, chicken, eggs, fish, oatmeal, sweet potatoes. Things like that. Can a red potato be swapped for a sweet?

Sure. Just make sure it fits your macros.

Sure. While you are at it, why not swap out sweet potatoes for some russet potatoes?

Yes. I love to make mashed potatoes with red potatoes, and leave the skin on. Toss in some butter and sour cream and they are awesome!

I'd consume every potato you can get your hands on.

i swap red potatoes often. no difference what so ever. reds just taste better with butter spray and roasted potato seasonings :) 16oz of potatoes each meal :) love it! plus when i have them with my steak meals, bbq sauce on potatoes is damn good :)
