im 35 6 6 i wieght around 315 im large frame i want to lose fat but gain muscle should i lose the fat than try to gain muscle mass wat weight should i get down to before trying to gain muscle mass.

I started working out last Jan. 10th at the age of 41, Im 6"1 and weighed 272lbs.
I lost 74lbs. and gained plenty of muscle at the same time (you can see my pics in my progress photos) by simply weight training 4-5 days per week (in my opinion its a huge mistake not to lift weights when cutting) doing cardio 3 days per week, eating healthy including as much protein as possible.
