I've been noticing a problem with my knee lately that I was hoping someone could give me advice on.

If I sit cross-legged on the floor even for just a couple minutes and then straighten my legs and stand up, my right knee really hurts on the right side of it. I've been trying not to sit like that when I can remember not to as a result, but it still has some pain.

I do excercises like squats and deadlifts and don't know if things like this may have contributed to the problem. Should I stop doing these?

So you do squats and deads and you knees are fine.

sit cross legged and your knee hurts.

remedy- dont sit cross legged.

This. They used to make us kids at school sit cross legs as I recall it hurt then one way and the other way not so.
