Thank you all for the welcome!
@Iron My main goal is to lose weight and never let this happen to myself again
I would like to get to 265 by June, I am fairly strong (Not like the guys here) but want to improve that as well , To that end I joined a gym and have begun 3 days a week with a trainer.
My initial numbers were very sad but I have noticed an improvement here are my current numbers fwiw
My bench started with sets@ 115 with a max of 225, I recently manages 335 3x and my normal sets are start at 185 and work up to 275 (10reps)
My first deadlifts were also around 115, now three weeks in I managed365 5x ( I have a very long way to go here I feel)
My biggest hurdle right now is squats im only at 225 for some reason it gets in my head ever time I try it

I hope this isn't coming off wrong I have soooo far to go both mentally and physically, however seeing all of the men and women here that are doing so well is very motivating.

I am hoping to get a better understanding of a proper way to eat and fuel my body.

It sounds to me like you're going to have to accept hunger into your life for awhile like it was Jesus Christ.

It has been 6 weeks since I began the bench :) But yes 3 weeks since my first dead lifts, I believe my trainer always starts me a bit lower probably to help me get pst my somewhat weak mindset(it has improved a ton ) so I don't think my improvements are as real so to speak?? But It's hard work and I love it hopefully I will be able to compete so to speak in the over thirty five class next year here on the forum.( for bench, deads and squats)

@ Dsup yea I do believe !
