i was wondering if i should be expecting to lose water weight first, as i have recently started to dial in on nutrition and can see some changes occurring already, but what i wondered was should i have expected to pee as much? is this how the body gets rid of some water weight or is this down to something completely different?

are you drinking alot of water .. if soo than that might be the cause ...

if you drop carbs you'll lose glycogen weight.
plus calorie deficit= oxidization of stored triglycerides. breaking down a triglyceride is a hydrolysis reaction so water is a by product so that might have a very small amount to do with it.
also if you decreased sodium that could affect it.
