Am I the only one who thinks this move makes sense? He surely must be a better option than yates.....right?

There's a reason 3 teams have gotten rid of him in 1.5 years

We don't need his sorry ass. Dude has poor work ethic and has completely fallen off. I have confidence in Yates.

Haven't seen Yates play but why not go the direction of the Titans (ala Hasselbeck) and sign someone for Yates to learn under? Houston is 8-3, granted McNabb isn't going to be back in pro bowl form but it still seems like less of a risk to go with him than risk the season on a rookie....

EDIT: Mcnabb had a QB rating of 82.0 this season, and I can only imagine it'd be higher with the Texans as they obviously have more to work with than Minn
