Pretty stoked about this documentary. Just listening to the reviews by fans of both sides, it sounds like the director nailed it. Can't wait to hear these interviews.

Not my vid, but only place I could find the trailer video.

ESPN has hit the nail on the head with the 30 for 30 series. I have volumes 1 and 2 of the original 30

Best part of this, as someone who grew up outside of Alabama, is learning all of the history.

I don't hate any Auburn fans. That is the difference. We've won enough big games, that we don't really care.

I actually have MORE auburn friends, now than I do bama fans.

These 30 for 30 documentaries are some of the best programming ESPN has ever produced (srs). Kudos to Bill Simmons.

The one thing that really sticks out as fake was Lou Holtz saying he had Auburn fans telling him we wondered when we'd beat Alabama again. Sorta call BS on that.

If Cam Newton never was signed to a 1 year deal, Auburn would not beat Alabama then or for the forseeable future.

Lets be honest.

Alabama's program is a NFL factory right now.

Bro, you can't talk about that. That kind of talk within the Auburn/Opelika Metroplex can make a man disappear. A lot of cow pastures out there that they could hide the body, the police couldn't possibly search them all.

Nor can you talk about the fact that Florida, and MSU were cam's first two choices. Auburn was his ticket to the NFL, frankly it didn't matter which program he joined, so long as it was a D1 school. That is why his dad was willing to shop him to MSU.

True.

Mississippi State would've been a bad fit for his NFL chances, and Auburn lucked up getting him.

I still remember how mediocre Auburn was following Chizik's first year barely surviving Northwestern, while Alabama was loaded with talent winning a National Championship.

What was said, was said. Get over it.It's not a little brother thing. It's the lack of confidence and defeatist attitude that I find uncharacteristic of most Auburn fans. For someone all about some big brother/little brother talk, you're the only one in the thread taking that stance. The whole little brother thing stopped back in the 70s, as much as many Bama fans don't care to admit it.

Like I said, auburn fans will never admit to it, but whenever they are under any kind of scrutiny they overreact. Hell, you guys were pissed when you got pre-ranked in 23rd place. Also the simple fact that you think Updyke represents every bama fan, is telling of your delusional state of mind. I bet you were one of those fans who equated the "tragedy" of the toilet paper tree poisoning with the actual tragedy of the Tuscaloosa tornado.

Once little brother. Always little brother.

Last time I checked we still lead the series, even after having our program thrown into chaos thanks to sanctions, probations and multiple coaching changes in a short period of time. Even while all of that was happening, Auburn's biggest win was by a mere 10 points. Bama dished out a 31-7 and 36-0 beat down in the same decade. Something Auburn has not managed to accomplish since the fifties.

inb4 "but in the last 30 years..."

Good. It doesn't take a genius to understand that two dead trees, don't come close to the value of a human life. Much less 50.

Good. It doesn't take a genius to understand that two dead trees, don't come close to the value of a human life. Much less 50.The loss of the Toomer's trees was tragic and sad, but it's very clear the Tuscaloosa tornado was incomparably worse. Thousands of people saw their world devastated, some permanently, in a matter of hours. I wasn't able to volunteer personally, but I donated food and water to the efforts. Thankfully, I think the number of people who have their priorities mixed up is pretty negligible.
