A camera in the football..
camera in the basketball
camera in the baseball
camera in the soccer ball.. etc

how epic would that be?

brb seeing what the baseball sees as it is hit for a homerun

brb seeing what the football sees as it is thrown for a 70 yard td

I enjoy the slow motion camera instead.

Maybe some sort of gyroscope tech could help with keeping the camera not spinning + post production editing. But with a baseball...you'd have to build something to withstand getting thrown 95 mph and hit. Brb technology exploding.

Football and basketball could be feasible.

surely this wouldn't be expensive with the amount of balls they lose, especially in baseball.

I'd much rather like to see Cameras in/on the helmets of the Quarterbacks.

Would be awesome to see what they see when they have the ball.

Better yet I'd like to see the perspective from a lot of different positions on the field. BRB camera inside the helmet of a pass rushing lineback. BRB camera in the helmet of a running back. Being able to see what they see would be really cool

you know how expensive that will be for baseball? they go through 100+ balls a game and you have to put a camera in each one.

This would be extremely helpful in a coaching aspect as well. In stead of photos you can diagnose and go over exactly what the player saw. Help them read D's, holes, tell if they are focusing on one WR. Would be amazing tool and i wouldnt be surprised if teams do this already.

Would be amazing from fan point of view as well, would love to see POV of a WR coming across the middle and getting smashed.(then seeing flag thrown)

Cameras on balls eh OP?

No cameras but sensors of some sort would be great especially in football where you could know without a doubt that a ball broke the plane/got the first down, etc.

brb motion sickness as the camera spins at 1-3 revolutions per second

Camera mounted inside the helmet of a QB would be much sicker IMO
