Oregon did not get smoked.

So logically a Pac-12 team should face LSU/Alabama.

They did get smoked... against LSU earlier this year.

No thanks.

And Auburn beat Oregon by a lot more than the score indicates.

lol @ the idea of an LSU/Bama rematch if their first meeting is close...most ridiculous thing i've heard this college football season

It's better for everyone if we watch a good game instead of another non-SEC team get embarrassed in the BCS game.

Won't happen. I promise.

Do you really think they'd put a 1 loss SEC team over an undefeated BCS conference team? If you do not win your conference you do not deserve an NC berth.

Of course. Much harder to go 1 loss in the SEC than undefeated in another conference.

this year, no.

sad to say.

Bama/LSU playing each other sucks, because those 2 should be the NC game. I cant see OKST finish out undefeated (play KSU, OU, TTU, @mizzou, and baylor) Their defense isnt that good, and they would get smoked against LSU/Bama.

If they lose, that might open the door for Boise to cake walk their way into the NC game. Bama/LSU would kill them as well. hopefully bama wins, LSU drops to like 3 or 4, and after beating Arkansas gets back into the NC game on a neutral field, however that is unlikely with a loss this late in the year.

Do you really think they'd put a 1 loss SEC team over an undefeated BCS conference team? If you do not win your conference you do not deserve an NC berth. Could happen if OK St., Standford, and Clemson were to lose and LSU/Bama play a close game. That would leave an undefeated Boise with one quality win against a one loss SEC school for the NC for the #2 spot. Especially if LSU (as the current #1) were to lose in a nail biter.

This.

Boise over Bama is laughable.

when will you phaggots pick a team and not a group of 12+?

well my team lost but its all good, ohio state, northwestern, indiana, purdue, illinios, and penn state won so its like my team won too..phaggots.

lolwut

The game was tied with less than 2 minutes left. A last second field goal wins it and that wasn't a close game? strong selective memory

Fact is, if the ball bounces differently just once, the result could have been different.

Just alternate handing out the trophy to Bama - LSU - Auburn - Florida

wildchild11
10-26-2011, 06:45 PM
Florida won by 10 in a game closer than it looked vs. Oklahoma in 2008 (Bob Stoops pissed away 2 or 3 redzone opportunities)

Texas lost their QB and got blown out as a result

Oregon scrapped down to the wire

Eventually, the SEC will fall. it might take some time, but we'll see.

I have learned that it's best to not debate or talk about college football with "SEC homers", there are some good SEC fans that love college football and will watch other good games in other conferences. Then there is the SEC fan who is so biased and irrational that he believes vandy would win every other conference. Arkansas fans were a pretty good example of this. I talked to them in New Orleans, "Oh yeah were guna win just because we play a SEC schedule". When you actually talk to them about anything besides the SEC they get defensive. True story bro.

You sure do post in a lot of CFB threads for not giving a sh!t about it, lulz. Just searched 'college football' with your username and almost 2 pages of threads came up. trololololol.

Oh, and another SEC elitism thread? Very refreshing and new. At least the SEC collects all the closet/bandwagon fans such as 1GGY so they can't be associated with any other conference.

After Texas tech beats oklahoma state in Lubbock, hopefully that gives Boise the ticket to play in the bcs championship game. Although I Don't like Boise, after they get whooped by lsu or bama it should end all talk about non aqs in the bcs title game

As a Georgia fan, I don't prescribe to all that "conference solidarity" bullsh!t. Yes, it's a stellar conference, one of the best... but... BRB, Alabama & Auburn winning National Champs & stealing recruits that might have otherwise gone to UGA. Why ever cheer for a team that's in the same conference?

Have to admit it would be lulzy if the first SEC loss in a BCS Championship Game came against another SEC team

Someone didn't watch the game. Everyone knows Oregon was smacked around the whole game.

It sucks because on a whole, in other words non-SEC teams, suck. I don't think this but I am certain this is the logic he was following.
