even the 0-16 Lions never lost this badly

62 to ****ing 7. . . . 62 - 7

Holy ****

This is practically the same roster that went to the SB against the Saints (i looked it up srs)

I just have so much more appreciation for what Manning does after what I saw tonight. Disagree with me I dont care but holy **** I am stunned.

Dan Marino didn't win 10 straight games for 8 straight years and 10 out of 12 years

C'mon its common sense when a team goes 3 and out every drive or turns it over the defense is going to be on the field forever. They tire, how are they going to rush the passer when the offense goes 3 and out every drive?

Yep they need manning to keep drives going and not go 3 and out every time. The best defense is a good offense

I don't want to hear this sh*t. Peyton threw a crapton of picks last year and wasn't playing like he used to. Why can you make the assumption that if he was playing today or this year somehow the Colts would be way better?

Would they be better? Of course. Would they be that great of a team...that's debatable.

Those guys who think Manning absence doesnt effect the defense clearly dont know football.

Colts wouldn't have been as good this year anyways, but Manning definitely plays a bigger role in his teams success than any other team.

What makes you think this game Peyton wouldn't have thrown 4 picks and 2 returned for TDs?

itt people pretend that Peyton Manning has never lost a game in his life.

It's kind of obvious they are tanking for Andrew Luck. I mean the owner of the team even stated they will draft luck if given the chance

Lol how many starters were on IR for the Colts last year again?
How ****ty was the O-line last year?

The Colt's roster this year > last year.

Improved running game with Carter, improved O-line with Costanzo and Ijalana, WR corps ALL HEALTHY. If Manning was playing, this team would have a winning record and would of easily challenged the Texans for the division tittle.

Of course. I'm shocked that anyone debates this point at all really. The Colts are built for/around Manning... anytime a player of that magnitude is gone it leaves a void that's crippling. LeBron James and Cleveland are a close example in a different sport.

This doesn't mean Manning is better than Brady. It doesn't mean Manning is the GOAT. It does suggest that Manning is more important to the Colts than Brady is to the Pats... and probably that the Pats GM is better than the Colt's. That's all.

strong this. Just because he's probably the most pivotal player for the Colts success does not mean he's the best. It's really not his fault the Colts staff hasn't built a team that could do decent without him.

Agreed with both.

The Colts are a system team, and the system is 1 player.

They were not prepared to replace him in any way. They were so naive about his injury they didnt let anyone know how bad it was until it was official he wasnt going to play this season, yet they wont put him on IR in hopes he can play Week 17 lol.

Fact is Curtis Janitor would be a 3rd string QB on every NFL team outside of Indianapolis.

It makes me wonder if he can step in on ANY NFL team and turn them into instant contenders. I think so.
