Looking like Edwin Jackson vs. Shaun Marcum tonight.

St. Louis really needs a win here to take back home field advantage. Down 2-0 to the crew and that potent offense could spell death for the Cardinals. The key to the game, IMO, is going to be Cardinal pitching. Jackson needs to get ahead of batters early and try to come out with a few quick innings early on. If he leaves the ball up in the zone, good night sweet angus, the Brewers are just going to crush the ball all over the park. One thing STL pitching needs to do better is to close out deep counts. I can't remember how many times yesterday the Brewers hitters fouled off a couple pitches with two strikes and then roped a hanger down the line or out of the park. Cardinals need to adjust.

Also, Pujols needs to chill the **** out, he's just simply trying to do too much. He needs to let the game come to him.

I'll be at work tonight brahs, but I'll be listening on the radio, hope it's a good one.

I hope our offense keeps rolling. And for Marcum not to give up 5+ runs before the 6th.

Cardinal offense is going to tear Marcum a new one. And Jackson owns the brewers.

I wouldn't be surprised if Holliday is still hurt...he really hasn't done anything these playoffs except for a few hits.

This is the one thing about Roenicke's managerial style that I don't care for. Doesn't matter how many hits or runs a starting pitcher is giving up or how much they're struggling with location, they're guaranteed to go at least five innings it seems like. You could tell through two innings that Marcum was going to be hot garbage tonight and it's the top of the fifth and his ass is still in there and still giving up runs.

McGehee pinched hit for Marcum in the 4th. Estrada pitched the 5th.

Just one game and Marcum gets zero run support at home. Look at his stats.

Ouch.. served a slice of humble pie tonight.

Have a whole new respect for their offense after tonight, if they keep playing like this there is no way we can stop them.
