View Full Version : Recommendation for high-quality, multiple-source protein?

Hello,

I'm looking for protein powder that is high-quality, multiple-source for immediate and slow release AND has some complex carbs in there to keep me filled up for 2.5 hours or so - most proteins I've tried will have me hungry after 1 hour or so, especially if mixed with water (versus milk).

The only one that I've found to be this way is PhD's Diet Whey.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Myofusion or Trutein plus your own complex carbs

Trutein is a quality protein blend and awsome to fight off hunger and its exactly what you're looking for. (No prop-blends) The 40% Casein and 20% Egg white on top of the 40% Whey is a fantastic blend, especially If you use milk for your shakes then It will def. keep you full for 3-4 hours. I use water for my shakes and It still gets the job done when I'm on the run and dont have time to grab a bite to eat. Best part is you can purchase samples of all 6 flavors for a couple dollars and judge for yourself without it costing you $50 bucks. Below are some reviews done by bb.com members to give you an idea of the flavors which If you go in the review section you can pull up tons of positive reviews. Our new Cinnabun is out of this world good and my fav. flavor. Our Vanilla and Choc PB Cup are both great also and we use a ton of natural flavoring sources like real Vanilla Beans..real peanuts etc so you get a clean natural tasting protein product. http://www.truscience.com/samples.html

Xtreme Formulations Ultra Peptide 2.0

:D ^^^

or Myofusion

You can add your own carb and fat sources as that will usually be better than just buying a weight gainer.

I haven't tried trutein but 2 scoops xf up 2.0 and you will not be hungry for 2.5 guaranteed.

XF 2.0. LCP and cinnamon roll are easily the 2 best protein powders I have ever tried

1.Up 2.0
2.Vasolate
3.SAN Myotein
4.Nitrocore

Personally, I would cop a jug or 2 of UP 2.0 and a 75 serving tub of glcomaize.
