i was thinking to replace my carb source (pasta-potatos-yams) with oats..is it wise or not? please your advice?

Absolutely no difference unless you overeat oats.

Why can't you just have variety and rotate or eat them all? Do you only eat one carb a day?

i eat cards only before my training (breakfast and 2 meals before my trianing) post workout i consume protein and vegetables...

You only eat carbs before workout but then just eat protein & vegetables post workout?

OP, hit your fat & protein minimums & then use remaining calories with carbs, doesn't matter as long as the majority of your calorie intake is from whole foods.

Use any carb source you wish just make sure to track your macros, generally oats have a considerable amout of protein and fat so make sure to include them in your count you may need to reduce those macros from other foods.

Here is a new concept, eat whatever you feel like, whenever you feel like to meet your calorie and macro requirements.

I'm not sure if it will catch on........
