Okay, I will go start a jihad thread for Christians.......

Religions are dumb, but the followers of Islam seem to be the dumbest.

Most Christians aren't devout anyways, and they have been raised in secular societies which have been mocking their religion and jesus time and time again, so they got used to it.. Unlike most muslims who live in Islamic countries were religion is highly respected, so you'd get a reaction from them when you mock their religion..

Retailing by burning Qurans is not a mature and intelligent course of action. Hate begets hate.

Or maybe, Muslims are ignorant and violent, more so than Christians anyways.

Whatever, doesn't really affect anything

But I was disgusted that so many authorities and even our President put every obstacle in the path of the Florida pastor who wanted to burn the Koran. Freedom of speech means freedom of ALL speech, ESPECIALLY that which groups find objectionable. If Nazis marching in Skokie, Illinois, KKK groups still holding rallies, and the Westboro Baptist Church are protected, religious (and anti-religious) speech should be well protected as well. The consequences are irrelevant.

Because burning books is a great way of turning the interest of people away from it...

kkk groups and the westboro baptist church dont have the probability (not possibility, probability) of being so outraged over nothing more than some retarded redneck burning books that he probably can't and has never read, to the point of increasing attacks that would end up taking more lives of people that generally couldn't give a **** about one moronic religion or the other.

So we should give up essential liberties, such as freedom of speech, if there is significant risk of attack?

LOL, thats completely backwards. The military and politicians exist to uphold the constitution and our rights. As citizens, we don't capitulate and give up our rights to keep them safe.

Its their country, let them do what they want. They are just showing off to the Islamic communities, nothing more.

This is the type of news that would be publicized to no limits, IF true.
I did a quick search and only Christian news websites posted it, and many of them linked or copied Rob Kerby from beliefnet.
These are some of his other articles:

Nevertheless, IF true, then those officials, who did this, must have reached a new level stupidity.

No, you're right, we should put more people at risk who probably have no idea whats coming so some dickhead in Florida can make a completely useless statement and show his inbred congregation how 'tough' he is. Don't throw out words like free speech until you understand what they mean and the responsibilities of the concept.

islam is vile and barbaric and needs to be stamped out wherever it rears it's ugly head. It is a mistake to associate every Muslim with the most extreme and barbaric practioners of Islam. It is also not possible to stamp out Islam without force, but reformation can, in fact, come through peaceful means.

Shouldn't you be out there condemning what your fellow Israelis said about the massacre in Norway?

I liked the bit where the bible burning was televised live by the Iranian authorities, after being publicised for weeks so that every possible Christian who might be offended was sure to be offended, and the bible burners jumped up and down shouting **** YOU USA as they burned.
I know this happened because of the hundreds of Youtube movies showing it, and all the news stories on the TV going on about it for weeks.
The Iranians were obviously trying to provoke a reaction from the west by doing it in such a blatantly... provocative manner.
Damn them!!!!
