He probably has 1 AB left. We're at home so there will be no bottom 9. Only 3 innings left and he made the 2nd to last out of last inning.

I'm pretty sure there's really only one unbreakable record in sports, that can never be broken in the future.

Wins, IP, CG's...anything like that is essentially untouchable the way pitchers are handled these days.

Never say never. Who's to say the game won't change again and make it possible. You think 100 years ago they'd ever think pitchers would be handled in the way they are today? Probably not.

If anything pitchers will be handled with more caution in the future....those records will never be touched.

Well that's a very close minded statement considering you don't have the faintest clue what life will be like 100, 200, 300 years from now. For all you know the average life span will allow for pitchers to pitch into their 50's effectively.
