I have a question for Yankees fans (since i don't watch them). How many games has Granderson won for them (on D or with the bat)? thats what i look at when i look for an MVP. Someone that their team couldn't do without. From an outsider, i could see the Yankees winning just as many games without him. I could be wrong though, i don't watch them too much.

Does anybody still want to have the Granderson vs Austin Jackson debate?

hes just a beast this year, damn. No doubt, but how much of that is him and how much of it is him in that lineup?

No doubt, but how much of that is him and how much of it is him in that lineup? Are you trying to imply that Granderson is only good because he;s in the Yankees lineup? Stupid argument is stupid. I guess then A-Gon, Ellsbury, and Pedroia are only having MVP years because of their lineup.

He's not implying that he's only good because of the lineup, he's saying that maybe his numbers are inflated because of it.

He's not implying that he's only good because of the lineup, he's saying that maybe his numbers are inflated because of it.It's not like Granderson is some scrub who's just doing good now. He's improved his swing a lot from last year and it's showing it. Same exact lineup this year and he's improved a sh*t load since last year.

On this board, there's no difference between that and steroids.

Power can't be taught. Bautista always had power; he just wasn't utilizing it. You can do whatever you want with John McDonald's swing though, and you won't get more than a handful of home runs out of it.
