DK if this has been done yet:

NFC:

East: Cowboys (yeah I think they'll surprise folks who think Eagles are a lock, obv. as long as Romo's healthy)
West: Who gives a ****?
North: Packers (easy pick)
South: Saints (easy pick)

Wild Cards: (This where it gets a little tough, I like Atlanta, Philadelphia and Detroit) I'm going with Eagles and Lions, Matty McChoke will blow it again I don't care how many WR's he has.

AFC:

East: Patriots (easy pick)
West: Chiefs (Chargers gonna Charge)
North: Ravens (kethnaab's mad as hell right about now)
South: Jags (they take it this year)

Wild Cards: Steelers and Colts (another easy pick).

Falcons finished 13-3 last season and have only improved in the off season. How do most of you figure they don't get a wild card let alone win their division?

Player dropoff. I don't think Roddy White will do as well. I needed that "bold prediction" too, so I took the Cowboys.

Well, their luck had to run out sometime. One game proves nothing, even a blow-out like this, but it was hilarious to watch ESPN's Sports Reporters Sunday and see the likes of Lupica and Albom struggle to comprehend such an upset. They threw up all the usual fallacious narrative nonsense: momentum, wanting it more, playing under the big lights. Frankly, I'm not sure what all the excuses were because none of it made sense.

What the numbers have been saying since before mid-season is that GB is really, really good but a bit unlucky, and ATL was average at best but very lucky. Turnover luck plus some very timely unforced miscues by opponents are what gave ATL their #1 seed, and we saw what happened when the football gods stopped smiling on Georgia.

They were a lucky, not good, team all season.

They will regret going all in on Julio.

I won't say that they didn't have some games that could go either way (what team doesn't?), but too say that they are "average at best" is just ridiculous.

From everything I'm reading and seeing, Julio is looking great at camp.

I don't mind the doubters at all. I kinda like being the underdog. I just wanted to see what other peoples reasoning was.

I think the Birds are gonna suprise some people this year...

Every analyst that has seen Julio in camp has said he looks like a 5 year vet. Reporters have also been saying expect him to have a Randy Moss type rookie season.

Preseason predictions are useless...

Realism

NFC East- Philly (Still a tough division regardless of their recent acquisitions)
NFC North- Green Bay (Overall strength of the division is increasing, Bears won it last year, Lions are better, and Vikings upgraded at QB)
NFC South- Saints (I'm still not sold on Tampa, Atlanta was very good last year but it will be tough to repeat imo, and Carolina might be mediocre)
NFC West- Rams (No idea, it's a toss up. I like them the best)
WC- Atlanta/Lions (Taking a gamble with Detroit but if Stafford stays healthy, I think they have a shot)

AFC East- New England (I think they're better over a 16 game season than New York)
AFC North- Steelers (Most SB losers have an off year but I think they're the team to beat in the AFC North)
AFC South- Colts (By far the best team in that division, probably the only team I'd bet my life savings to win a division)
AFC West- Chargers (Too much talent)
WC Jets/Ravens

Don't see much change in the AFC, Chiefs are building a nice team but their schedule is pretty tough next season (they play Pitt/Indy and the NFC North/AFC EEast).
