So what are you thoughts on how BSU is going to do this year with their new schedule with the MT. West conference?

georgia will be a tough game but i think we'll win. after that we should go undefeated. at some point gameday/cfb live will do the whole "do they deserve to play in the national championship" thing, half the SEC will have heart attacks and even though maybe we end up as a top 2 or 3 team after the first five weeks or so there's no way we stay there after teams are done making their conference runs. any undefeated bcs team will be ahead of us and any 1 loss bcs team from the big12/pac12/SEC will jump ahead of us.

This. BSU even got offers to join better conferences and turned them down. No respect for them until they sack up and play with the big boys. Sure, they are a great team and can beat other great teams 1 game a year, but if they played a full schedule of legit opponents they wouldn't have close to the same type of success they have now.

Until they join a "real" conference, they can go undefeated and beat 1 ranked opponent all they want, IMO they still won't deserve to play for the title.

Pac10 didn't offer them a spot during expansion? I thought they did. My bad if they didn't I stopped paying attention to that stuff this season.

boise state doesn't meet the academic standards of any major conference. they are practically a community college. unless their academics dramatically change, which i don't think they will, they will not be invited to any major conference. also, their other sports teams are holding them back.

boise state's best chance at a tough schedule is to go independent IMO. if they try to get contracts to play TCU, utah, oregon, BYU every year and add a big 12, sec, or big 10 team every season i think they might get some respect.
