2540 runs have been scored in the AL East this year.(avg 508 per team)(4.773 runs per game average)
2244 runs have been scored in the AL Central this year.(avg 448.8 per team)(4.194 runs per game average)
1733 runs have been scored in the AL West this year.(avg 433.25 per team)(4.002 runs per game)
2240 runs have been scored in the NL East this year.(avg 448 per team)(4.155 runs per game)
2735 runs have been scored in the NL Central this year.(avg 455.83 per team)(4.227 runs per game)
2133 runs have been scored in the NL West this year.(avg 426.6 per team)(3.950 runs per game)

That stat there should be enough, AL East pitchers should get more credit...

Adding more on to it. The average runs in the AL per team is 465. So we have a base, the AL EAST produces 43 runs higher than the average team in the AL, if you want to say it's pitching fine, but it's not history suggests its all the batters.

They should get more credit for allowing by far the most runs scored against them? Are you serious?

Poppa_Boner your the worst troll on the forum. They've played around 36 games vs eachother. If you feel like running a few numbers, and checking be my guest. From what I've seen the pitching from the AL East shuts down the AL East.

I hate ****ing trolls ruining good threads.

Beckett, Sabathia, Lester, Buchholz, Garcia, Colon, Shields, Price, Hellickson, Romero, even Guthrie are great pitchers that deserve more credit that can shutdown the best hitting division in Baseball.

What are you trying to prove with that stat? Yeah, the division has good offenses, they also have some ****ty pitchers

Yeah, their ****ty pitchers would be average or maybe even good pitchers in a place like the NL West.

Lol yea, but that doesn't say much.

It may not to you, but when considering pitchers like Ubaldo Jimenez... He sucks now in the NL West, how would he be in the AL Central, or AL East if the Sox or Yankees got him.

I hope you weren't referring to this as a good thread...

Those numbers don't mean anything. You can pretend that it correlates to the worst pitchers in the East being good pitchers in other divisions (lol?) but really that's just flat out ignorance.

Why would I be mad, I'm a Boston fan....I support the Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics

It just sucks to see people in my own city and in the same fan base act like this, I'm actually embarrassed if anything
