They're about to make an awful trade (Storen + player) for Denard Span.

If they make that trade, that will be a big fail. They have made some good moves in the past, but for a team that isn't going for the big push, this deal would be horrible.

Should deal Clippard for him or nothing at all. Serious

They have been pushing Clippard on them but they want Storen. Nats GM Rizzo has a boner for a CF and is going to grossly overpay, whether it's for Span or Upton or even Bourn.

I hate that people have a false idea that Rizzo is a good GM because he happened to fall into arguably the best two drafts in a row to have the #1 pick in(this sentence is worded wrong I know, tired right now). He is actually one of the worst GM's in the league.

or even Bourn.

In b4 Wade requires Strausburg from you for him but turns around and gives him to the Phillies for some Single A pitcher when you guys turn him down.

Jim Bowden apparently just said this on the radio

"Davey is on board. They need a CF. Except for Rivera and Hoffman, most closer have a short shelf life....the Nats have tried to solve CF since they moved to DC. Clippard can close and the bevy of arm coming will help. the Nats baseball people are all on board. This will be a painful deal for them because they all love Storen. But be prepared....it's going down "

fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.

Anyways, so stoked they didn't give in to the Twins demand and trade off Storen. I would have liked an additional bat but there was no reason to overpay for a guy coming off a concussion.
