At what Foster is making currently, the last thing he needed was a lockout. Guys like him could give a dam about the Brees, Bradys, and VJ's of the world and just want to get back on the field to play and make a living.

I just heard an interview with michael lombardi, he said that the players were coming on the NFL network complaining saying on one hand that they hadnt even read the new deal then in the next sentence saying the owners slipped new stuff in. He basically called Demaurice Smith an idiot and said the players have no idea what they are talking about. It made me lol.

I think Arian has the right idea.

Exactly...I was saying this last night when magicmatt was on his retarded "players are doing what's right" campaign. The guys who can stall are the guys getting paid 5+ a year. The guys who are trying to get better contracts and who need to play to earn a living want to sign now.

i can understand wanting to read the fine print but at some point you have to make a deal...

The players made themselves look even worse by doing interviews. They went on NFL Network and none of them had a good answer for the obvious question of "What exactly is the issue with the proposed deal by the owners?"

They should've just sent out a statement saying "we need to review the details" and stayed the f*ck away from interviews until the deal is signed or they actually find a reason to hate the offer...and offer that was put together with their reps.
