View Full Version : What Do You Use For Post Workout Shake ?

Ive been reading alot of post and stickys and all that jazz about the post workout shake.. but im wondering what do people like yourselves actually use right after your workout...

next week im gunna start SP250 pre with Xtend Intra and post workout im thinking.. protein shake with possible dextrose ... thinking about creatine also.. well see..

so whats your post workout shake ?

cmon man? women? don't lie. if you really read the stickies and read a lot of posts, then you should know by now that most people eat food post workout.

My question is why consume a post workout shake? After all, I find solid food provides better satiety, palatability and nutrition.

You do know that protein alone will "spike" insulin, right? And you do know that the anabolic window is about 24 hours long, right?

Why not wait until it's convenient to eat and then have some yummy whole food, like a steak for example?

I took a Viagra once...it got stuck in my throat and I had a stiff neck for hours.

some people love waxy maise some say its bull..

my protein shake: SYNTHA-6.. i can take it my shaker to te gym fill it up with water and its easy to mix packed with protein.

Lately I've actually been avoiding eating anything PWO because exercise curbs my hunger so much and it helps to take advantage of that.

I have 2 scoops of Hydrowhey and 5g creatine right after then drive home and shower etc... And about an hour later have a big meal like....
