View Full Version : Matt Kemp hits another HOME RUN!!!

AmazinJason

4/5, 1 HR, 2 RBIs, 2 runs

raised his average to .336, 5 points behind Reyes

his 62 RBIs is 6 behind Fielder

his 22 HRs leads the NL

Triple crown, coming right up!

oh, and do note he also has 21 stolen bases (only 3 cs), which is 4th in the nl.

braun and kemp are the only people in the nl who can hit for power and steal bases.

he's on pace for 45 home runs and 43 stolen bases. 40/40 for sure, but let's start dreaming a bit here: 50/50 perhaps?

matt kemp is a whole new player this season.

he used to strike out waaaay too often and not draw enough walks because he was so impatient at the plate.

here are his so/bb ratios in past seasons:

2008: 3.35
2009: 2.67
2010: 3.21
2011: 1.64

this season in less than half at bats than in 2010, he already has almost as many walks. he has 42 this season in 281 at bats but had 53 in 602 at bats in 2010.

An OF, I know the Sox need an OF.

Maybe this dream of Reyes, Pedroia, Gonzalez, Youkilis, Ortiz, Kemp, Crawford, Ellsbury, Saltalammachia will come true.

Starting off the 2nd half of the season on fire!

Home runs in 2 straight games.

Now tied for the NL lead in home runs with 24.

Now tied for 2nd in the NL for RBIs with 72.

Sadly he's 6th in batting average with .315, with the leader Reyes at .354.

3rd in the NL in stolen bases with 27 (only 3 caught stealing)

On pace for 98 runs, 41 home runs, 124 rbi's, 47 stolen bases, .315 batting average. line of 315/399/598, with ops of 997. damn.

Not mad that the Dodgers have the NL version of Bautista... a superstar player that don't mean S hit because the team sucks so much dick.

And? Wait until the McCourts are gone and the Dodgers can start spending some money again and they will be good to go and compete for the division title. Solid foundation of pitching behind Kershaw, Bills, De La Rosa (though he is getting Tommy John surgery), and Eovaldi. With a solid closer in Guerra. And with a superstar in Kemp in the lineup.

rubby come back strong from TJS?
eovaldi coming up from double A to beast?

potential bills trading chip....but i actually like him as a 3/4 starter.

now if dee gordon could do something besides bunt...i'd be really happy.

All the dodgers fans that I see in az at Dbacks games are classless losers, so I've never liked the franchise. Mainly because they're all wanna be thug cholo phaggots. I imagine you hate SF hence rooting for us which I can respect. LAD is definitely AZ fans most hated mlb team, so that's just how it goes. Lakers/Dodgers, can't be seen cheering for them as a self respecting AZ sports fan.

I love Andre (asu brah) and like kemp and clayton, so I guess hate the fans we put up with more than the team. If you guys get some more help on offense you'll be good, pitching is pretty damn solid if bills gets his sh*t together (fantasy owner he drives me nuts yet I always end up drafting him). Sucks rubby has to get TJ he was pitching well.

#28 today.

Kemp's numbers are ridiculous considering the trash he has around him. 28 home runs, 89 RBIs, and .975 OPS with Loney hitting behind him? Lol.

Dodger's pitching should be solid next year. Kuroda is most likely gone, but we have 1 stud already in Kershaw, with 1 solid 3/4 guy in Bills, and 2 up and coming pitchers in Rubby and Eovaldi (who has pitched REALLY solid in his 2 starts). Lilly has blown balls this year, but he has always been a pretty reliable pitcher in the past. Hopefully he can bounceback next year and be a solid end of the rotation guy.

yeah loney needs to go. he was such a highly touted prospect who was supposed to be a really good power hitter, and he actually showed pretty good power in his rookie season, but everything went downhill from there. scouts thought he could still develop power, but lettuce be cereal here: he's 27 and entering his prime and has still developed no power. dodgers need to get rid of him.

and if the dodgers can get someone like fielder.... holy balls. kemp/fielder in the 3/4 spots? all the offense you need right there if gordon/gwynn can solidly get on base as the leadoff.

he's the only real offseason move we need to make.

everything else can be done during next year because we have plenty of nice trade chips....

oh...and i want juan urfatbe gone.
not on my team anymore.
ill trade him for nothing.

Total MVP candidate, sucks he probably won't get recognized since he's on such a bad club.

Dodgers need relievers. Gwynn has been improving A LOT lately which is a good sign for next year. Gordon is still raw but has so much potential. Don't know what went wrong with Loney but he should go. Ethier isn't playing to his potential.

They just need to make a couple moves and add some ppl. I say mattingly is doing quite well as manager so far too.
