I generally take about 200g of protein per day, however, I noticed that I am getting a very large gut... and I DO NOT WANT THIS AT ALL!

My diet is like this....

3000 calories a day
200g of protein
200g of carbs
80 - 100g of fat

20% body fat at 5'5" weighing 150 (120 lbs of lean muscle). I am definitely gaining muscle, however, I want to know why I am developing this huge hideous gut!

excess calories WILL result in fat gain... try a smaller surplus.

Well, I do believe I am calculating pretty correctly...

I had four nature valley bars today... (400 cals)
can of tuna... (100 cals)
6 yogurt (600 cals)
one 100g protein shake... (640 cals)
two cups of oatmeal crisp almond... (500 cals)
one cup of rice... (660 cals)
two tiny pieces of pizza... (250 cals)

My every day diet is pretty similar to this, except I generally have two 100g protein shakes. Maybe i've been going over the 3000 cals without even knowing. O_O;

Well for starters that's 3150 cals. And 2 100 g protein shakes?!??!? 8 scoops of protein a day?!?? Stop forever.

Ha was just kidding with the stop forever. But yes 8 scoops is way too much. If I was on my laptop I'd show you how I easily hit 180 g protein with 0 scoops. I love eating meat and a lot of food.

Okay, but getting back on topic... which seems to be the biggest culprit of the fat gain, in your opinion?

Does 2500 calories sound good, or is that too much of a change?

2500 for 5'5" is tons. Especially since u said ur bf% is so high meaning ur actual muslce mass is much less than whatever u weigh.

lol. She was joking OP.

Carbs don't make you fat
Protein does not make you fat
Fat does not make you fat
Eating too many calories makes you fat
