Carl Crawford is definitely not the best LF in the AL this year, its not even arguable. Alex Gordon, Josh Willingham, even fuking Corey Patterson has better numbers than him lol

Same with Ellsbury. Granderson is miles better so far this year

and I don't even know which catcher you are considering 4th best in the league

PitBillSoxFan
06-22-2011, 08:31 AM
No.

lemme guess.....

durrrrr Granderson has more HRs and therefore he's better!!!

280 average and greater than a 2:1 K:BB rate?

Ellsbury is better on the bases and defensively.

Ellsbury has a 2:1 K:BB ratio too, and your boy Crawford "best LF in the league"...4:1 K:BB ratio and a sub .300 OBP., .243 avg

Plus Granderson has a .100 higher OPS lol, you're a strong homer still

ellsbury is very good but has not been good stealing this year, only 24/34

crawford is the worst LF in the league. fact not opinion

Strong homer.

3B: should be 2nd. A-Rod > Youkilis

SS: LOL @ 4th. Asdrubal, Peralta, Hardy, and Ramirez are all > Scutaro. I'd even say that Yunel is better too.

LF: LOL @ Crawford 1st. You do realize that Josh Hamilton is still in the MLB? And Crawford has been absolute horse crap this year?

CF: Okay, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt with this one, it's close with Granderson.

C: L-O-phucking-L. Varitek and Salty are probably two of the worst players in the MLB.

Crawford is 5th in the AL among qualifying LFers. So, your opinion is factually inforrect.

For the past 6 weeks he has a .304 BA (no LF has a .300 BA) and an OPS of .876 (highest OPS in LF is .835)

also, Salty is 5th among AL catchers in OPS and I bumped him to 4th since he has a much higher BA than Napoli

You phucking retarded bro? Josh Hamilton is a left fielder, plain and simple. He has 100 at bats as a left fielder this season, only 33 at center field. He plays mostly left field and occasionally center field, aka he is a LEFT FIELDER.

Not only are you a strong phucking homer, but you don't know **** about other players. Maybe that's why you are doing retarded **** like ranking Crawford 1st and Scutaro 4th. Lol.

Actually he is a CF. He's been playing left since he came back from injury because Ron Washington thinks he is less likely to get hurt there.

Are you retarded bro?

In 2010, Hamilton had 349 at bats as a LF and only 118 as a CF. Earlier on in his career, he WAS a CF. But since last season, he has been converted into a LF.

ESPN.com and MLB.com both have him listed as a LF.

Not sure how you're ranking these guys but just going by this season and counting defense here's what I think.

Agon- Agree
Pedroia- Agree (I think he's just behind Cano, although Cano is not great defensively, and just ahead of Zobrist)
Youk- 2nd/3rd (His bat is probably #2 but his defense is not nearly as good as Arod, Beltre, or Longoria)
Scutaro- 6-7th
Crawford- 11-12th (talent wise, he's probably top 3 but his slow start/injury hurts him)
Ellsbury- 2nd
Drew- 14-16th
Salty- 6-7th
Ortiz- 1st by far.
