View Full Version : Anybody get memory loss while cutting at big deficits?

I keep forgetting what day it is, and I wake up on my off days getting ready to go to the gym. I forgot my locker combination for 30 minutes. I just had a huge cheat meal, so hopefully that makes me better for a couple of days. 8 slices of costco combo pizza, 775 calories each.

Of course it's normal , even when I over feed I forget things , but mmm if it's unusual for u , check ur fat intake mmm have enough of that

oh lawddd.

A whole combo pizza from costco is only 6 slices (their slices are really 2 slices). You ate a whole combo pizza plus another third of one? That's legit.

I forget shet when im high thats it. I cut at 2300 cals dont want a huge deficit. Im happy with my body so im taking it slow now at around 300-500 cal deficit

I was at -1200 kcal for the last two weeks (back to -600 this week) and while I was incredibly tired, I didn't have any memory loss issues.

Consider that you aren't eating enough day to day if you are bingeing on 6000 calories worth of ****ty costco pizza. (I'm a pizza snob, but I'll cop to the "sex is like pizza" thing. Still, I've had that costco pizza. 8 slices???)

Not normal. But I've heard if you do low carb it will cause memory/brain issues.

P.S. Costco pizza is closer to 300-400/slice.

Its likely your body adjusting to ketosis. You either need to add in some carbs to keep your body out or do a weekly carb refeed. For me the magic number is around 100g/day if I drop carbs lower than that I get stupid too.

yeah when I go low carb my mind gets foggy. Forget stuff, dont attention too well, its weird. Usually straightens out once I get more sleep and more carbs.

I didn't mean to do Keto lol.
I just did a cut and wanted high fat and protein, because I feel really hungry with low fat and high carbs.

A Costco "slice" is really 2 slices. A normal slice of large pizza is ~350 so it's 775 cals for a combo costco slice.

I smoke a lot of bud and don't have that problem. Try some poly and mono unsaturated fats(olive oil, peanut butter, etc.). Just mix it with your protein shake; the taste is gratifying. I recently started taking fish oil too; may help.
