View Full Version : Having problems with diet - Need Help! :)

Alright so I recently overhauled my diet and am attempting to lose about 15 lbs for cross country in the fall (Going from around 167 lbs to 152 lbs). I currently run about 25-30 miles a week and lift 3 days a week full body. But it seems as if I'm barely losing any weight even though im eating around 1800-1900 cals a day.

So right now here's what I'm at:

1800-1900 cals
55% carbs, 20 % protein, 25% fat.
Weight is 167 lbs and height is 6 ft.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get more protein in my diet? My only good sources are from meat and the occasional egg whites I can get my hands on. My parents have tons of high carbs/fats foods but little on the protein side of things. And also how much should I cut back on calories to lose weight the fastest?
