...what will you do?

Will the players get worse? (fat/out-of-shape, in trouble, etc.)

As a fan, who would you blame?

I'd blame the owners 75% and players 25%.

I'd be more productive on my Sundays.

I'd watch the Canadian Football League . . .

would blame the owners 100%... they initiated the lockout by basically saying they are not making enough billions a year

but there is no way there isn't a season... shortened season, maybe...

the players will go into panic mode in about a month and will force maurice smith to take any deal on the table because 90% of them are idiots who don't know how to manage money and are willing to screw all the players in future negotiations to save themselves a few paychecks

but personally i wouldn't really care... there are enough other things to do besides watch football on sundays

why would I blame either side?

For a contract to work it requires both sides.... I lol @ anyone who side with the "players" or "owners". They're the stakeholders, its up to both sides to make it work.

I'd be pretty damn pissed, thats for sure.

I'd blame players, owners, coaches, merchandisers, beer vendors, ball boys.....everyone!

It's the greatest league in the world and its going to get derailed with millionaires fighting with billionaires.

Some players are going to get ridiculously out of shape and never recover.

Look at pre-lockout Shawn Kemp:

And that lockout wasn't even a full season.

Use sunday to watch the college games I recorded on saturday because their was another game that day I wanted to see.

I'm a much bigger college fan anyhow so, not too much of a single **** will be given if their isn't an NFL season (srs) (no hate)

They did make it work.. the owners opted out of a previous agreement. Owner's fault.

will be in interesting experience if we dont have football for even a few sundays. i guess i would go grocery shopping or find a fall festival or some sh*t. of course it wouldnt be the same though.

im sure college football would find a way to take over those sundays. it's prime real estate. i think i read an article about it a few weeks ago

no one else to blame but the owners! they are the ones who started this whole mess.

Hopefully it gives half the people on the sports section time to work out ;).

Hockey's going to be very popular, imagine if NBA is locked out too.

Oh well supposed to be an 8 game season :(

College > NFL anyways. NFL is just like the hangover left from Saturday's games.

Will still be sad tho. I actually won't mind either way tho I'll be gone at basic training for most of the season. Would be nice to know I'm not missing anything.
