lettuce rejoice that we won't have to hear him announce any more NBA games. Hes honestly one of the worst commentators...id rather listen to Doris Burke than him. The LeBron cocksucking has gotten to all-time high

lol wow so many haters in here. I honestly love his commentary and he's one of my favorite to listen to. I like him with van gundy cuz that dude pisses me off so much. for every 1 thing he says that i agree with, he says 5 other things that make me rage. My favorite part is van gundy saying something stupid and mark jackson putting him in his place about it

Phew. No more
"Playing pool out there. Three ball...corner pocket"
"Mama, there goes that man"

There's a lot more, but those are the only ones I can think of now.

He may have haters, but I like his broadcasting and hes an amazing guards coach and a great all around mentor.

Great hire.

should've hired him and jeff van gundy to be co-head coaches, then have them mic'd up every game

would've provided the lulz

I always wanted the Pacers to hire him as an assistant coach back in the day.

ITT we hate on a man for no reason at all.

sound insight on the games, good banter with van gundy....diverse perspectives on the game...fine by me.

and i think he'll do just fine in golden state if he has the faith of the FO.

Hahaha. Now that you mention it Mark does say "you talk about" a hell of a lot. Still, he's not the worst part of that trio. Mike Breen is an insufferable league shill. Every ref call is one of two things with that guy. One - a GREAT call by our official. Or two - maybe not the best of calls but you can understand how a ref would make it.

Like Haslem flopping out of bounds under the basket in game two. Called a foul on the Mavs. Shows replay, an obvious flop that Breen couldn't just call a flop. No, that ass had to say "well, there was a bit of a push there" to absolve the referee from his mistake.

Breen will never have to worry about upsetting Stern.

Jackson and JVG are a great duo bc JVG actually knows the NBA and how to coach. Jackson has no idea but when JVG say something out there, Jackson is always there to put him on the spot.

this

van gundy really needs to call him out more often for having the refs and david stern's balls in his mouth

everyone needs a first job, hopefully Jackson can get it done for GSW. As a bay area resident I'm pulling for the guy and Mark Malone as well as his top assistant. I sure hope Mark Jackson is the next in line after guys like Avery Johnson, Doc Rivers, Scott Skiles who were floor generals as PG's in their playing career then made good coaches.
