yup

you basically pay a set amount for 100 bids...every bid that is made on that item is subtracted from your bids whether it was your bid or not....sure the items sell cheaper but the sites make alot of money off each item

you have to pay for bid... brb paying $300 in bids for a $200 item

It's like playing the Slots in Vegas.

Someone will win a ton of money putting in a very little amount however 99.9% of others will sink a ton of cash with no reward.

Pretty much all luck. Someone could make one bid and get a great item dirt cheap. Other people will spend $500 worth of bids on one item and not even win it in the end.

I won a slingbox HD for 12 bucks shipped on a penny auction site. Paid 60 for the bids but even then 72 bucks for a $300 product is a damn good deal. it's pretty much all luck though.
