View Full Version : I just.... can't..... do it.....

I tried ... I really did.
I got up a bit earlier this morning...
Boiled my water...
Measured out 2 cups...
Popped them in and cooked for 5 minutes...
Made a 2 serving protein shake with milk... (I prefer water usually)
Sat down to eat them...

... I could only force down 1 cup worth.


So.... How can I cook the "Old fashioned" oats to have some decent flavor without over complicating it and making it a hassle to fix ?


Or should I just go back to Egg and wheat toast ?

Why not adding some berries, Or peanut butter, banana, almonds some thing like that.

looks like you have the case of "being a little bish".

Just eat the god damn watery oats and drink your brotein shake if you want to be big and strong.

You arent a real bodybuilder if you dont hate your food.

I sure would be! I'd be closing my eyes, pinching my nose, chasing it down with my PWO shake. Whatever it takes!!! Cuz I'm all about being miserable in every other aspect of my life, just so long as my body looks good.

put your protein powder in your oatmeal.

put artificial sweetener and cinnamon in your oatmeal.

put fruit in your oatmeal.

put sugar free jello in your oatmeal.

just experiment dude

Put the oats, protein, and milk in a blender and make a shake. You're doing it wrong if you aren't drinking at least 3 shakes a day.

Your drinking your protein shake with milk only? Sick (IMO).

Get a blender.
Put in your raw oats and blend it into a fine dust.
Add in protein powder and milk.
Blend.
Put in a frozen banana and let it sit in the liquid for 2 minutes.
Then blend until a smooth consistency.

That's a good idea right there (as well as others above)

I wonder if a little hand blender would be able to do it. If I could get it to a fine dust that would make a great breakfast meal to just be able to drink the Protein shake with the oats.


and yes , I like the taste of ON Gold whey .... in water better than milk. :)
