So I've been cutting for 2 weeks now.

Started at around 15 - 18 bf. At about 194ish.

Been eating 2000 calories. No cheats. Following layne norton's ultimate cutting diet.
fat - 58g
carbs - 93g (20g fiber)
protein - 287g

Down to 181 this morning.

Been maintaining lifts in the gym.

Should I do a re-feed? Or is that not necessary?

What's your maintenance intake?

You're cutting too sharply too quickly for your stats, #1.

You're eating 90+ grams of protein that you'd probably enjoy as carbs/fat, #2

You don't need a refeed two weeks into any cut, #3.

You need ~15g+ of dietary fat, #4.

13 pounds in two weeks seems like a lot to be honest. Increase cals.

^ I think the OP is using UD2.0, which is a drastic weight loss protocol.

What I'm trying to determine is how much below maintenance he is consuming, as that will give a sense as to if a re-feed in needed. My gut reaction is that one is needed now or very soon.

...and near psmf on off days

OP: Give a re-feed a go. They can help with a whoosh.

That's the article i've been following so far. Just wasn't sure if a refeed was necessary yet or not.

Funny how the re-feed guidelines are some of the only non-broscientific things I read. Freakin' Layne being goaded into writing horsesh*t (though I did not check article of date)

his pictures are really awesome though, hot damn. strong lifetime goal physique.

Any idea on your body fat %? I would follow his guidelines for refeeding based on body fat like he outlines. Your avi claims to be you at a heavier weight, and you certainly don't look obese, so I'd say you fit into the 10-15% bf category, and as such you would be refeeding every 6-12 days. Meaning if you felt it was necessary, you could feel fine to refeed :) By Layne's standards, at least.
