View Full Version : Cutting and muscle wasting

I am currenty bulking and am about to begin to training for a local road race. I was wondering what can be done to minimize muscle wasting? I don't want to lose the muscle that I have gained but I would like to enjoy a lean abdomen. My plan was to leave my diet at around 3000kcal leave my weight training the same, just incorporate the running. My weight is 142.5lbs. Thanks in advanced

Is 3000 your maintenance calories or your bulking calories?
