With Sullinger, Barnes, and Perry Jones staying in school, this year's weak draft class has gotten even weaker

http://www.nbadraft.net/2011mock_draft

Right now nbadraft.net has Fredette going 7th to Detroit. Scale of one to five, how bad is this pick going to look 5 years from now (1 being not bad, 5 being historically bad)?

I dunno he seems solid, we're have to wait and see... I think he will put up numbers in detroits system, but Kemba Walker projected 13th to PHX!!! Brooks and Kemba in the backcourt OMGGG

Jazz make the most sense of course. Washington could use him at #19.

But looking at the 1st Round right now there are no good fits for him in Round 1 outside of Utah & Washington. Every other team presents a bad situation for him

Jazz & Pacers make the most sense here.

This draft may be worse than the 2000 draft.

why? Kemba won't be able to take a shot in the NBA and he's not an elite shooter

Jimmer has unlimited range

I can see Jimmer being a Korver type shooter. He has great range and can get hot.

the pistons don't need another shoot-first guard. with that said, my goodness this draft is weak.

If JJ Redick can have a decent NBA career then I'm sure Fredette will, he's a better scorer than Redick ever was. That said I wouldn't feel comfortable taking him with my top 10 pick, but this draft class is so ****ing weak a lot of teams won't really have a choice.

God damn this nba draft is going to be boring as ****. Thank goodness my Broncos have 3 picks in the top 46 in the REAL draft a week from thursday, this sho am gon be good.

nobodys debating that he'll have a decent NBA career. the issue is whether a team should spend a top 10 pick on him.

Why do people make it sound like that's a big deal? This isn't the NFL. Second round picks get traded for a bag of chips, especially in a draft this weak. Our 1 pick will be very high, obviously. That's the one we care about.

We had another 1st from the Bosh trade, but traded it for James Johnson, who's still young. We traded our second round pick years ago. Who is projected to go in these slots, according to the mock posted? Kyle Singler and Josh Selby. Is missing out on Kyle Singler and Josh Selby really mortgaging our future?

There is no way he will become one of the biggest busts in history. You are a prisoner of the moment.

Just the fact he'll be drafted 7th means even if he's a complete failure, he'll still hold better overall value at the pick than flops picked 1st and 2nd.

Every year in the draft there are plenty of guys that aren't even in the league after their rookie contracts end.

Redick is a better shooter, while Fredette in college is good at driving to the basket. The thing is in the NBA Fredette will not be able to drive to the basket and will have to rely on his shooting. Plus the competition Redick faced blows the MWC out of the water.

Lol mock drafts are a joke he won't go 7th. The only way he goes that high if the jazz have that pic. The mocks have Josh Shelby going in the 2nd round when he is first round talent.

i'm up in the air on jimmer. he has the talent to be an all star player, but i just dont know how he is going to react to 1) having to play D and 2) having other legit players on his team
