I was wondering, how much caffeine (mg) usually usually gives a significant energy boost. I understand this may vary from an individuals stats and tolerance, but in general what is the *number* that you go for?

I think 200mg is a number that is usually thrown around. Maybe because its the most common size for a caffeine pill. If i am not taking a pre-workout its usually how much caffeine ill take before my workout.

Ahh thanks for help. I was wondering because I got some ON Amino Essentials and they're sitting at about 100mg of Caffeine per 9g and it got me thinking what the regular amount found in most pre-workouts is.
