I intend to be training in the near future at 6:30am, what would people recommend for a pre workout snack?

5-530am....eat a meal (eggs n oats; not a snack). then train at 630.

I do the early morning thing too. I've tried a bunch of different combos and just found what worked best for me, major thing is figuring out if you can workout with a full stomach. Right now I eat a hard boiled egg, and have a whey shake with oats, found this to be just right.

Things I have tried:
Greek yogurt with oats and fruit-thought this was a little too thick for early morning
Full breakfast-3 eggs scrambled 2 pieces of toast with natty peanut butter
Just the whey shake with oats
Oatmeal with fruit

Experiment and figure it out.

I train at the same time.

6 Egg Whites, 1 Whole Egg & 1 Cup of Oatmeal with a Cup of Skim Milk

You dont need to eat anything if your macros were met for the day. I personally find that eating b4 working out just makes me feel sick and reduces energy levels.
