Hey, how's it going. I've been trying to gain some size, but I'm still a little pudgy. I'd like to maybe lose fat while slowly adding muscle. I've training for a good while, but gains are slow right now. So, the way I see it, if carbs are the macro that transports protein to the muscle, and protein does the rebuilding, then by cutting out the fat from my diet, I'd probably have to tap into stored fat for energy? So, I've been doing something like this:

Meal 1: 1 cup oatmeal, 12 large egg whites
meal 2: 3 cans tuna, 12 oz sweet potatoes
Meal 3: 3 cans tuna, 12 oz sweet potatoes
Meal 4: 3 cans tuna, 12 oz sweet potatoes
Meal 5: 3 cans tuna, 12 oz sweet potatoes
Meal 6: 3 cans tuna, 12 oz sweet potatoes
Meal 7: 3 cans tuna, 12 oz sweet potatoes
Meal 8: 3 cans tuna, 12 oz sweet potatoes

What do ya think? Even the Oatmeal might be pushing it for fat content, I'm sure it would be optimal to cut that out entirely, but for all intents and purposes this will do. There is still room for deviation. What do you guys think? (*__*)

Hmm....I get the impression this isn't quite the ideal diet. What if I replace half of my sweet potato meals with brown rice? Would that help? Actually, for the last meal it would be better to cut the carbs out altogether, and put them earlier in the day, to keep the fat storage at bay.

sarcasm? What? No! All I learnt from bodybuilding was from this guy at my gym; easily 340 lbs at 2.5% bf. He said it worked for him, so it's would clearly work for me.

Course, Obviously it's not the exact same diet, get real...I'm half his size....typically, what he did is add a protein-shake for pre, intra, and post-workout, usually cell-tech. That's just a little too ridiculous though.

Perfect diet then. Just make sure to get that protein shake pwo for the insulin spike.
