im having difficulty trying to figure out exactly where i would have got him in my lottery.
because im not sure if i would take him over tyreke evans.
and then oklahoma city didnt need a PG.

Jrue was projected to go #4 to Sacramento on one of NBADraft.Net's Mocks.

When he fell so far I was in shock because I thought it was no doubt he'd go Top 10.

Anyways I'd take him 6th.

Griffin- LA
Tyreke- Memphis
Thornton- OKC
Rubio- Sacramento/Anaheim(Huge Spanish market)
DeRozan- Minnesota
Jrue- Minnesota

In that order.

You may not like Rubio but he wasnt as highly rated as he is for "nothing". Everyone who followed the Draft realized he is a high potential PG who's game would excel in the NBA rather than in Europe.

Jrue/DD light it up together for a decade in the backcourt with Beasley at SF and Love at PF.

Let me guess..Thabeet before Holiday is a good pick in your opinion...

Anyways I'd take him 6th.

Jrue- Minnesota

I think if the draft was redone, he'd be best off going to Golden State because he would complement Monta perfectly and would add some defense to that team. Curry probably would go to Bobcats

LOL at the offensively challenged, average defender being better than Curry..You went full retard. And dont even ****ing say that he's an amazing defender. He's not. He was good in college, in 76'ers he has a good front court and 1 all-nba 1st d wing.

brb 14 points on 53% TS..lmao. That's a bad night for Curry at the very worst

The important thing to remember here is that Ricky Rubio is a phaggot.

lold at tyreke evans

17 ppg on 41% shooting
5.5apg.
3.2 TO.

those arent good numbers for a PG or an SG...and he cant shoot...his rookie season was dope but he has regressed...sorry.

edit:
curry is just a shooter...he has a series of dope as floaters and what not.
but even with the great shooting component, he's still not better than jrue holiday off of the pick and roll....he still doesnt see the floor better than him....he doesnt pass better than jrue....he turns the ball over....and he's a willing defender, he just cant guard anybody.

do you know bad that is?...TO BE A WILLING DEFENDER and you still cant defend?...LMBO!...curry pls go.

Umm Curry is better offensively in every possible way. Scoring isn't even close overall. 18.2 ppg on 59% tshooting vs 13.6 on 53% tshooting? Come on son. Inside their scoring is a wash. Both shoot similar % on similar attempts. And Curry actually plays less minutes.

And as to passing, Curry actually has a higher AST% and lower TOR.

Curry also draws more charges and is a better help defender, but Jrue is a better man defender.

So basically the only thing Jrue has on Steph is his man defense..That's like saying Sefolosha is better than Monta.

Lets be reality, coming out of college he looked like a huge project with just straight up potential. His shot was bad, decent dribbling, good speed and size.. he had all the tools to be good but his game wasnt there yet. It was around the right spot.

Jrue's awesome.... and he's still only 20 years old.

The kids not a finished project, he's a hard worker and seems to always be improving. He may not be better than some of those guys yet, but he will be at some point.

Be_Easy_25

lold at assist percentage.
that was a good one.

higher TOR?
well he has a higher AR as well.
and those numbers coincide with him having a higher assist/turnover ratio like i said before.

im not geeked about TS....you always put TS in there like it's the holy grail of stats....it's not imo....all that shows me is that steph curry shoots better than jrue holiday...tell me something i dont know.
so again....how is he better than jrue besides shooting?

saying someone is a better help defender because he takes charges is lulzy.
like someone is a good help defender because they get weak side blocks.
someone is a good finisher because they can dunk the ball hard.
or like...

could be that GS defense is trash and that he has to make plays like that?

gswarrior making stats say what he wants them to say?
OH MY...this is new.

gswarrior510
04-03-2011, 12:25 PM
it is trash...mostly because we have a terrible defensive coach that plays zone against teams like Suns. I dont put too much stock into defensive troubles of Monta and Curry on this team with this coach. If you have a player that is willing to play defense, it doesnt matter how good he is defensively, he can be a good team defender. Look at CJ Watson for example. Same thing as Curry, he was a good help defender, but terrible man to man defender. With Thibs his defensive unit is the best in NBA. Not that he's a catalyst for it, it's just that he's not a minus.

And TS% (or at least eFG%) is much better measure of efficiency than FG% or whatnot. It's not holy grail, but it's very important. Curry is just much better at scoring. Dealwithit.

+when he was given the PG spot exclusively (by Nelson last year after all-star break) he put up 8+ apg. Now Monta is our primary ball handler and PG. I mean come on 22 ppg with 5.5 rpg and 7.7 apg for 30 games..that's retarded numbers for a rookie PG

Jrue has that "it" factor. He will be the starting PG for the 76ers for the next 10 years. Hes young with LOTS of potential. I love the guy.
