So I have been tracking my daily intakes via iPhone app and had a question in regards to this. Let's say I hit my protein and fat goals for the day but still a ways off from my carbs could that be more detrimental as opposed to just eating them for the heck of it ? I don't think eating just to fit them into macros makes a lot of sense but again I am newer to the whole macro goals.

Alan has stated:

In a nutshell, when dieters get protein intake & calorie intake right, it's impossible by default to overconsume carbohydrate to the point of adverse health effect.

What exactly are your carb "goals"? I have never seen a suggested macro target for carbs. If you want further advice post your macros

My daily nutrition info looks like this....

Height 6'3'' or 6'4''
Weight roughly 200-205

Recommended daily calorie intake 2100-2350

Carb recommendation between 264-396 grams
Fat recommendation between 61-105 grams
Protein recommendation between 138-237 grams

I feel like I could maybe tighten this up a bit and am very open to suggestions!

Again this is according to my dailyburn app

My stats are pretty much the same as yours, here are my guidelines.

Bulk - 3600
Maintenance - 3100
Cut - 2600

Protein 220g
Fat 90-105g
Carbs 190-250g

Adjust fat & carbs to fit your workout schedule. (lower fat, higher carb w/o days, higher fat, lower carb rest days.)

Again,

Your goals for macros should be to hit your protein and fat goals on a daily basis. Your carbs are just extra.....really no goal.

^^This. 2100-2350 seems very low for someone of your size. Maybe redo your macro and calorie goals using this link and see what number you get: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=121703981
