Nets get:
-Melo
-Billups

Nuggets get:
-Devin Harris
-Derrick Favors
-4 1st round picks

Are the 4 first rounders worth getting rid of two marque players and getting two middlemen in return?

You think this is ideal? Ideally melo would want to stay in Denver. But he doesn't, so the Nuggs are trying to make lemonade right now.

Uruji must be one scary motherf*cker if he had the balls to ask for gallo, fields, chandler, felton, mosgov, and a 1st rounder for melo yesterday

yup

I had to sit and watch Peppers walk for nothing from the Panthers. You get what you can when you can. It sucks but it's better than nothing.

The Knicks are fukking stupid for not doing the deal when the Nets were out of it, they would've only lost Fields, Chandler, Randolph + 1st round pick

Billups is no longer a marquee player. This trade is a no-brainer for the nuggets. Melo is gone and they get a starting pg, a project rookie, and 4 first round picks.

I agree with that in a sense. Harris delivers, but he's always going to be more of a game manager than a breakout point-killer.
Favors has potential as well. But really, who's coming out of this year's draft class?
