Hi, I'm 6'0 155lbs and I'm trying to put on a fair amount of weight. My ideal weight would be close to 180 or so, but I really don't know what kind of diet I should have to put on the weight. I would appreciate any input.

Come up with a skeleton diet (with calories and macros stated) and post if you like for review.

Eat at a calorie surplus. Just as cutting weight requires patience so dose adding weight. If you rush the process you will put on excess unwanted fat. For lean gains a small gradual surplus in calories from maintenance is best. If weight gain is going to slowly or not at all adjust calorie intake appropriately and monitor weight closely.
