I'm thinking of buying some online made from Valencia peanuts. Good or bad idea?

Tastes the same to me, different texture.

If your used to PB&Co or PB with honey or something, then it will be bitter.

It has a great natural peanut taste which is not sweet in itself, same w/ almond butter.

personally think it tastes a lot better

I think natural peanut butter tastes a million times better. I actually eat it by the spoon full now purely from the taste.

surely this thread is just a joke right?

Much much better than the regular one.

just because its organic doesn't mean its not going to have additives like sugar and oil added to it.

Make sure the only ingredient is PEANUTS.

I personally just buy the Smuckers or Wegmans (store brand) Natural PB, only ingredient is peanuts. Its not organic, but I doubt the extra cost of organic is worth any perceived benefit.

I personally only buy organic products where I will be consuming the outer skin. (apples)

Good idea, but there is nothing wrong with many non-organic peanut butters. You could also try making your own with just peanuts and a bit of oil in a food processor/blender, it will taste great and be far cheaper.

Just eat whole peanuts :)

about the same to me, in fact I think I like the non-organic more. At whole foods you can make your own and I made both and liked the non-organic more, also I think one had less cals then the other but I was not sure about that being correct.

Trader Joes organic Valencia crunchy PB is best PB evarrr. Kid tested, bodybuilder approved.

It's just thicker. The taste isn't bad, it's different.

It is absolutely delicious. I take 4 TBSPs a day, the last 2 of which come right before bed as a reward for eating well the rest of the day.

I think it tastes a lot better. The nut flavor is a lot stronger.

I cant tell the difference OP. Skip the organic bidness, its not worth it.

Man, I can't even tolerate that stuff they call "peanut butter" that isn't natural peanut butter anymore.

Non organic peanut butter just tastes like vegetable oil infused crap, which it is.

The only downside at all to natural peanut butter is making yourself stop once you start.

More like how amazing?

pretty damn amazing

Still have to come across an "Organic" brand that doesn't have any additives like palm oil and cane sugar. Make sure it's natural, like others above me have said (i.e. Peanuts as only ingredients!!). Don't buy the "non-stir" ones; they contain additives. :) Enjoy

im eating unsalted roasted peanuts right now and they taste like peanut butter

so if organic peanut butter tastes anything like this then it will be good.
