View Full Version : 6-8 meals a day

so how do you get in 6-8 meals a day. Right now i would probaly say i eat every 3 hours. But if you add that up its only 5 meals a day. I don't get how people get 8 meals a day. Like should i be eating every 2and a half hours a day instead.

I get up at 8:00 every day and go to bed at usually 10-11:00 oclock.

10:30
1:00
3:30
6:00
8:30
10:00-11:00

So ya that would be 7 meals a day. So i need 3,500 calories every day. I would have to eat 500 calories each time right. Now thats quite a bit too eat, plus it has to be mostly protein right.

So ya would this work, eating every 2 and a half hours.

It would be toss up between carbs and protein. I usually consume more carbs by about 50g. They are equal as in 1g protein and 1g carb both equal 4kcals. Most people on here will state is it is all in a days nutrition meaning as long as you hit your macros you would be just fine. I only eat about 6 times a day and if I need the extra I will throw in a meal or 2 but that is usually rare. I do eat between 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

Timing is irrelevant. Eat how much and when you want to hit your goals.

Find what works for YOU. Everyone is different.

depending on ur goals u want a ratio of 40.40.20
