i went off my protein rich diet for ONE WEEK and didnt go to the gym for ONE WEEK. I stopped taking creatine for two weeks, and this morning at the gym my bench was 20 lbs lighter, and all my lifts were lagging. i was in the "zone" but just couldnt lift as much. i would say i ate about 1/2 the protein i normally would for the past week (work been super busy) - could this really be due to diet/creatine?

could be. hold ur diet & supplementation steady for another week if u really want to find out.

i guess its shocking that even 6 days would result in that. guess creatine and right amount of protein really are key huh

I feel like it might be more of a mental issue than decreasing protein intake or cycling off creatine.

Either way, whether you get back on creatine or not your strength should return quickly.

also, if it's just one day u cant really extrapolate off of it....anyone can have a ****ty day in the gym

guess im not sure cycling off creatine is the best thing ?
