The total comes out to be 4000 if 3 shakes are with water, but i was thinking about using the extra 400 cals from milk to fuel my cardio sessions to keep those intact while on a bulk. I have also heard oats before bed can be good, any opinions on that?? Thanks in advance!!

Protein intake is excessive. Shoot for 1.0 to 1.5 grams per pound of lean body mass.

Eat whole foods whenever possible and drop the protein shakes and other supplements.

On a bulk, I'd increase dietary fat as well, but at least make sure you're consuming between 0.45 and 1.0 grams per pound of bodyweight.

Meal frequency seems excessive. There's no advantage to eating 8 times per day, assuming proper daily nutrition, as meal frequency and timing isn't important.

^ At least he cut caloric intake from +5,000 to +4,000. That's progress. ;)

I revised it bro, needed some critiquing. 5k is extreme, so i am going to start at 4 and gradually build up to that intake if need be

Yeah bro, it seemed like the 5k idea was a dud hahaha. What do you think about using the extra cals for cardio and oats before bed? I def. i am not gonna drop cardio, i would still love to do 3-5 days a week and with that surplus it should be possible

So you are asking if you should create a wash with your calories?

As in you burn X with cardio, and replenish with oats before bed?

Well it is 4000 if i mix my 3 shakes with water, with milk it adds about 400 cals. Thinking of using those to fuel my cardio session then fuel back with oats before bed.

Still a bit unclear, but I think I get it.

Burn ~400 with cardio. Use the milk to +400

= 0

Then take in oats before bed for more surplus?
