Actually, no.

Protein intake should be based on lean body mass and not total bodyweight, especially in morbidly obese individuals.

In that case I weigh 177 my mass is 150. I should take in 150g of protein. Am I right?

no need, but it wouldnt hurt. Maybe shoot for a gram per lbs of lean mass. 300 at thirty percent body fat might be 210 grams per protien. I assume your trying to advise someone. Make sure they understand caloric deficit at first and keep it really simple. Adherence is more important then protein intake at that weight. Get em lifting three days a week and on a moderate caloric deficit with an emphasis on eating whole foods. Chips cookies fried food beer etc in moderation! After they have got that under control for a while you can begin to fine tune their diet.

No, it's 1g per pound lean body weight or (even better) target bodyweight, not total bodyweight.

As long as this fatman is eating enough to mantain LBM and is not fat deficient or in ketosis, he can add the rest of his macros in any way he likes.

I would recommend a higher protein intake for weight loss because it is more satiating.
