Why are bears fans so confident they are gonna whallop us, especially after we've beat them at home already.

hmm arena football is pretty much a different sport so I won't count that, I know he put up huge numbers in his year in the European league though, couldn't tell you if he won a playoff game that year though

bigcc

he played in FCS playoffs for Northern Iowa I think

I stand corrected

Im actually curious if any QB has won their first NFL playoff game having no post-season football experience (after highschool) though

http://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/schools/louisiana-lafayette/

i guess that school has never even played a bowl game?

edit: i think 2003 was delhommes first playoff season too and thats when the panthers went to the super bowl.

I know he did in NFL Europe before joining the panthers, and he started as a true freshman in college so he played 4 years.... but I can't find if they made a bowl game at any point anywhere

quarterbacks making their postseason debuts have a 5-19 record since 2003

So basically what you're saying is the Seahawks will win, essentially making the ATL- GB game the NFCCG.

Cool story bro

Hasslebeck has a lot of playoff experience, though most of his team does not. The Bears are pretty much the opposite, with Vet's like Urlacher and Peppers on their D, I think it's going to be who can get the ball moving on Offense that wins this game. Too close to call, it could go either way depending on who get's the chains movin'.

But you can bet your ass I'll be cheering for the Seattle Trollhawks

Not sure if srs. Our team is full with playoff experience.

Guys like:
Hasselbeck
Tatupu
Locklear
Babineaux
Milloy
Trufant
Brock
Stokely
Terrill

Have all played in the superbowl. And three of them have been to the superbowl multiple times.

Then theres other guys who have a handful of playoff games under their belt:
Clemons
Mebane
Washington
Spencer
Andrews
Herring

Oh yeah, and our team did play a playoff game last week.

too close to call??

It's called I'm taking the 11-5 team with the homefield advantage and the top 5 defense over the crappy 7-9 team on the road that lost 9 games by 15-30+ points

that crappy team that beat you despite your homefield advantage and has all the momentum while your team was sitting watching us you mean?

Cutler get's the **** beat out of him almost every game, and even when he ISN'T getting sacked every play he isn't that good of a QB. The Seahawks are riding the momentum from beating last years Superbowl Champs, not to mention the Seahawks BEAT THEM in the regular season.

you think that Jay Cutler is gonna walk up to the O line nervous about going against that Seahawks D? It will be a duck walk. Bears 87-19

cramron

I could see Jay being nervous about playing the 97 Packers in his first game or 2003 Buccaneers but this is the Seahawks. Jay will differentiate between dark blue unis and neon green unis with eaze

The same defense that sacked him 6 times, hit him 10 times, and allowed 13 points (the other 7 came from that PR)..... yeah maybe

but lol@ "duck walk"

we just came off the most emotional game all season and we're gonna come out soft? Right bro.

That is if he doesn't start confusing his Wide Receivers for the stars in his head after getting sacked every play.

There is no sure thing in this game.

Jay could come out and throw 4 TD's or 4 Interceptions.

I wouldn't be so confident as to pick a winner here.

Right now on bodog they're giving the Bears 10 points. From Chicago and definitely rooting for the Bears but that seems high to me.
