lol @ thinking we actually care about that

all that matters is the rings at the end of the year and that's what we're after

and this is their FIRST year together lol.... wouldn't rule out a 72-10 record in the near future when the target is off the heat's backs ;)

You're a moron.

If you actually watched basketball you'd know that last year the Lake show lost their last regular season game to the Clippers.

If you're a Spurs fan you'd know that their longest starting streak was broken by the Clippers.

But you're neither infact, do you even watch basketball?

....they did play better. Did you even watch the game?

If i had to guess it would be because Lebron was having a bad day. He didn't take over the end of the 3rd like he usually does and then he even sprained his ankle and couldn't play as well as he usually does.

At least they learned a lesson here. They've been usually just coasting the 1st half (chill mode) then turning it on in the second (work mode). They need to reevaluate their work to chill ratio. Maybe chill 1st quarter and work the other 3 on hard games.

I've just gotta shush the haters. I expected them to lose tonight. (unless Lebron had a monster night) The Clippers sucked the energy and ankle outta Lebron.

Earlier in the season they were the streak breakers ending the Hornets/Spurs.

Well aware. Stop asking people who watch basketball, "Do you even watch basketball?" Almost as sad as papishasho claiming every Heat loss to be a result of umpires betting on the game and the Heat having an off night. Sickening. With all the hype surrounding Lebrick, Wade and Bosh, how in the hell did the Heat lose to the Clippers? Are you clowns not claiming on a daily basis that the Heat play the best D in the league? Can't shut down Blake Griffin as papishasho claimed. What a joke.

whyd the heat lose? i thought they played better in the 2nd half......

Apparently, their D is not as good as they thought - or the work/chill ratio was dialled into chill

Or, they lost because the Clippers were better than them.

Yeah, I did. And the best team won. Here's a hint, Lebron ain't clutch. If he was the game would have been a blow out. Oh, and if you look at the stats - seeing as papishasho is so big on stats - he'd disagree with your last point - it looks as though the Heat did chill in the first quarter and worked in the last three, given the quarter by quarter scores.

Kobe has 5 rings, 2 Finals MVPs - and doesn't need a 72-10 record to win a 6th title and 3rd Finals MVP.

We're not discussing Jordan here either, he's retired therefore he's not competing therefore he's not relevant to the discussion of what Kobe is doing this season. We all know Jordan is the GOAT and always will be. But don't deflect attention away from Kobes achievements when we're discussing modern day ball by bringing up legends of the past. I've already acknowledged that the Lakers cannot go 72-10 like the Bulls did - therefore there was no need to bring it up.

Unless you're a butthurt Heat fan knowing Lebrick and co will fail come Playoffs time. Cue more excuses.

we are talking discussing jordan and the 95-96 bulls 72-10, and how people predicted miami heat this season would beat it.

what we AREN'T talking about is kobe and the lakers, since they are irrelevant in the regular season record discussion.

so stfu and gtfo (and maybe read the thread op before you start posting)

lettuce be reality for a moment.

the heat will not lose 10 games between regular season game #18 this season through regular season game #17 next season aka 82 straight regular season games.

strong 9-8 record through the first 17 games aka heat training camp making phaggots get happy.

They started what, 9-8? And were 30-9 the other night? Christ, the team was just put together they needed to get things rolling. I could see them breaking the record within the next few years since they seem to be greatly improving on their chemistry and figuring out where players fit in. srs

brb quoting the same post 1 hour 8 mins apart. strong contemplating a random msgboard post for over an hour.

do i think the heat will challenge the bulls record eventually? yea i do. probably next year or the year after.

do i think they could've challenged it this year if they had an actual training camp before opening night instead of using the first 17 games for it? yea i do. hence my 'creation' of a new 82 game schedule.

do i think you already knew this and are just being a stupid know-nothing phaggot who is trying to redefine 'strong post to username correlation'? yea i do.

pls go.
